  • Bar Assistant Manager - Ashley Cross

    Full-time Assistant Bar Manager vacancy in Ashley Cross - immediate start

    We’re looking for an all-round hospitality star to become the Number Two at The Butcher’s Dog Ashley Cross.

    We’re a little different at The Butcher’s Dog and we’re looking for an AM that is comfortable working for an independent, family-owed and passionate bar that specialises in great beer and fantastic service. You’ll get to turn your hand to all operational aspects of the bar - stock control, ordering, shift leadership, cash handling, training, social media, event management - this role has lots of potential for creative and logistical input. All the while, you’ll work closely with our Operations Manager to meet targets and push exceptional customer experiences.

  • Bar Supervisor: Wimborne

    Full-time vacancy at The Butcher’s Dog Wimborne, immediate start.

    We’re searching for a Bar Supervisor to lead shifts, open/close the pub and work as the right-hand person to our Operations Manager in Wimborne. This role is approximately 40 hours a week, Wednesday - Sunday, mostly evening hours.

    Are you friendly, chatty, hard-working and good at working in a team? Experienced in hospitality and knowledgeable on health and safety / cleaning / customer service? Interested in working for a family business, one that prides itself on great service and top-notch pints?

    We’re looking for you! Experience in hospitality is required for this role, as well as experience in a leadership role. You must be able to work weekends.

    Come and work for us in our busy neighbourhood beer bars in Wimborne and Ashley Cross! Tucked away, a little off the beaten track, The Butcher’s Dog bars are relaxed, friendly and beer-obsessed, run by a super team - we’re biased, of course!

    We need people who love the pub, love talking to people and enjoy working in a small but perfectly formed team! No prior bar experience is necessary but people skills are a must and some customer service would be great.

    Applicants should be available to work flexibly on Friday Saturdays and Sundays, daytime and evening.

    Our pizza partners-in-crime Flamin’ Grate are on the lookout for a new Pizza Chef to come and work in our busy bar over the summer. Adam and his team have been a permanent partnership with The Butcher’s Dog since 2018 and now, they’re busier than ever.

    Have you got experience preparing pizza, using a wood-fired oven, serving to customers, working in a small team? This is a unique position working for a super popular street-food/pop-up style outlet from Wednesday-Saturdays throughout the summer.
